While some maintenance can (in many cases) be attended to on a seasonal basis, here are a few items that should receive regular maintenance throughout the entire year:

#2 Door Closers, Latches, Hinges, and Locks
#3 Window Glass, Tracks, and Other Hardware
#4 Any Signs of Rodent or Pest Infestations
#5 Filters for HVAC and Water Systems
#6 Fire Alarm Batteries, Fire Suppression Systems, and Fire Extinguishers
#7 Carbon Monoxide and Smoke Detector Batteries
#8 OSHA Fall Prevention Devices/Equipment
And, of course, schedule regular inspections for the building’s roof and envelope.
